Carlyn Janus is a native-born Chicago artist and recent transplant to New York City, specializing in acrylic and mixed media painting on canvas and paper. Her work is abstract in nature, often mixing the organic elements of her surroundings with surreal, dream-like textures and layers. She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Chicago and has over 15 years of professional experience working across many artistic fields. Her paintings are held in collections in both Canada and the United States.
